From April 13 to 19, 2026, Milan once again hosts a week dedicated to art in all its forms.

Milan is preparing for the tenth edition of Milano Art Week. From April 13 to 19, alongside miart, the city’s modern and contemporary art fair—the city will transform into a vast stage devoted to art in all its expressions, celebrating the languages and visions that capture the complexity of our time.

This year as well, Milano Art Community is taking part in Art Week with a rich calendar of exhibitions, events, and openings in the galleries and institutions of the Community, along with a new addition: Ghost Track, a project promoted by MAC and Milano Art Week. The project features works by artists connected to MAC, integrated into the exhibition paths of Milan’s civic museums.

In musical terminology, a “ghost track” is a hidden track: a piece placed at the end of an album that does not appear on the official tracklist—a silent presence revealed only to those who listen beyond the expected limit. The artworks engage in dialogue with the permanent collections, occupying spaces as unexpected guests that open up new possible narratives.

Other Ghost Track venues include: the Natural History Museum, the Planetarium, the Museum of Ancient Art, the Egyptian Museum, the Archaeological Museum, and the Museum of the Risorgimento.
