M DFF - MILANO DESIGN FILM FESTIVAL

21–24 October 2021

M DFF - Milano Design Film Festival is back to Milan for its ninth edition, from 21 to 24 October 2021, this time in a phygital version: alongside the online schedule, it will be possible to attend live screenings and meetings.

The festival, which has been held annually since 2014, offers a selection of videos during its 4 days - from films to documentaries - for a transversal approach on design, architecture and current social implications.

The theme of the 2021 edition is RESET, which indicates "the collective need for a new beginning".

Two sections of the festival are entrusted to external curators who select films about enviroment, sustainability and on an ever-changing interdisciplinary theme. Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra, of the Barreca & La Varra architecture studio in Milan, will be the Guest Curators of the edition; the duo Formafantasma will instead be curator of the Bloom section.
